FLATNESSES is a mnemonic coined by Dion Hinchcliffe in October 2007 ^[1] that extends the SLATES mnemonic developed by Andrew McAfee in 2006. Hinchcliffe used an anagram generator to create FLATNESSES mnemonic, which captures the social, emergent, and freeform aspects of Enterprise 2.0. FLATNESSES is depicted in the diagram below:
